- Belinda K. Conaway represents the 7th District of the Baltimore City Council. The area encompasses Remington, Hampden, Greater Mondawmin, Panway, Fairmount, Hanlon Park, Medfield, Penn North, Liberty Square, Fulton Heights, Forest Park, Ashburton, Parkview-Woodbrook, Auchenteroly Terrace, Whittier-Monroe, and Burleith-Leighton.
Councilwoman Conaway was elected in November 2004. She is a native of Baltimore and a graduate of Western High School. She received her B.A. Degree from Bowie State University and her Masters Degree from Indiana University in Pennsylvania. Councilwoman Conaway has worked for more than 15 years in the Baltimore City Public School system as a guidance counselor and classroom teacher. At the 2004 Democratic National Convention, she was also elected as a John Edwards Delegate.
